New Application GEO Walk – 3D World Factbook is out

Today we are happy to announce the release of our new product – Geo Walk for iPhone that is a 3D World Factbook giving you a slicker way to access curious information about the world around us. Imagine learning interesting information as you spin a 3D globe around. With Geo Walk you will discover new stuff and remember the old one, you may have heard of a long time ago but forgot. Whether you are a child or an adult, you will have a lot of fun playing with educational and simple app Geo Walk.

The application containing up to 300 articles with striking facts features eye candy interface, smooth navigation, category filter and 2 viewing modes. Geo Walk has 3 main categories to browse through: Places, Flora and Fauna, People. You can look for the information in all the categories at one time or set a separate category for investigation. All entries are provided with colorful pictures that can be viewed in a cover-flow or chosen object mode.

On the 28th of May folks from many countries had a chance to try their hands on iPad. It was an event that everybody was talking about and waiting for.

Before They Start Walking

Once upon a time, when Star Walk was not even on the AppStore and all seven fans of the app had beards on their faces and telescopes in their backyards, no one could even think that this complicated space navigation tool would be interesting for anyone besides astronomy buffs. However, a little sparkle of our passion for astronomy gadgets had started a fire, which sculpted the digital astrolabe into a fun educational toy that is now known and admired by hundreds of thousands of customers.

A huge part of those customers doesn’t know how to hold a spoon and constitutes fan-base of the ABC song. They cannot pronounce some words properly, but they can tell you what an ecliptic means. They also know more about the world than the greatest minds of ancient science, who believed that the Earth was flat.

Regardless of age (and ages), this childish curiosity lives in every one of us. Young or old, ancient or contemporary – since the moment you first looked up at the night sky and started wondering how far those little white dots are and where does it all end. If that’s not the the engine of progress then what is?

Our astronomy apps Star Walk and Solar Walk help to start up this engine and give you and your kids a good boost into astronomy.

Apple’s Best Apps for Great Outdoors Selection

StarWalk Apple is promoting iPhone as a great devise for outdoor recreation, provided you have several essential apps. This list includes a birdwatcher encyclopedia, app that shares a screenshot with your mapped location, a panorama image app, an advanced weather-checker, a rout-tracker, a couple apps for sailing, and of course Star Walk.

When you’ve completed the day’s dynamic activities, there’s some time for relaxing night-time leisure, such as stargazing, and this is when Apple advises to use our app as one of the best outdoor apps to have on your iPhone.

A friend, who is a professional hiker, said that his group uses Star Walk on their monthly full moon hike. Seems to be a well-thought selection, which helps you to feel the unity with space and nature. When you do, does anything else matter?
