Winterface 2.0 soon to be released with your skin!
Some of you probably remember the ‘‘New face to Winterface” contest we run before the summer. You sent us many interesting options between which we chose some that will appear in the new version. Winterface 2.0 will not only present new skins but many new features for this major updates. We will keep you posted on the release date and publish some screenshots to give you a preview of it. Thanks to all the participants of the contest and all of you who sent us suggestions on how to improve our next generation windows mobile shell and we really hope you will like the new edition!!!

You punks! Just when I’d decided to jump ship to the iPhone when I’m eligible for an equipment upgrade, you announce this. I have 26 days until it’s decision time (my current phone is dying rapidly). I can’t wait to see what’s changed.

I don’t want to spoil the news as it is anyway better looking at Winterface than speaking about it but I can also tell you that you will enjoy the customizable backgrounds, the additional widgets and the scroll and touch functions working together.
Found few things to improve during testing but shouldn’t take long to fix those.

Anyway to get a sneak peek at whats going to be new a teaser screen shot….or like 2 new features… GIVE US SOMETHING MAN…best wm app IMO.

I know it’s probably WAY late to request this, but SMS-Chat and FunCotact are detected by Winterface and it switches from the default WM programs to yours. Any way you make it recognize EyePhoto?

It seems that EyePhoto is not so popular and it has a different functionality terefore we’re not going to do that. I think you may easily addthe app icon on one of the screens of Winterface and use it instead of the default.

I hope they fixed the reason I transferred away from Winterface…which was that there was no voicemail notification when you have one.
Instead the phone icon just shows a # for how many phone calls you missed. If there was some voicemail icon or some other # to show voicemail if you have any then it would be the PERFECT UI imo :)

@syypher: That’s an interesting glitch. On my Tilt, it had a minor glitch where the number of voice mails was on the email icon and it didn’t show me how many emails at all.
My wish is that things like recent call history, SMS or emails would open in a window FIRST, like the Calendar does, and then hit the button to move to the program. I think the result of that would be a faster moving interface.

@Eric Ya I heard about that too before. If they fixed that and made the #’s on the phone section for voicemails then I will return for sure to Winterface and point a few other friends of mine to here.
That would be awesome if they popped up in windows first like the calendar! :O

I hope they can address the issues presented by the new WVGA Touch Pro2 (Rhodium) from HTC. Battery, Bluetooth icon no longer link to those functions and the interface “goes away” frequently. Love the UI when used on my QVGA Vogue/Touch.
