Winterface got updated!

Winterface 2.03 update fixes the bugs:

  • Winterface couldn’t start because of Calendar
  • Lock feature now works on Omnia

Those who have some major issues with the version please send us logs. Otherwise it will be difficult to fix the bugs.

Here are the instructions how to make log files:

download the logging files here:
http://iwindowsmobile.com/files/LogOn.exe and http://iwindowsmobile.com/files/LogOff.exe

1. Copy these files to your mobile device (e.g. Temp folder).
2. Tap «LogOn.exe» to start logging.
3. Start your VITO application
4. Reproduce the problem at issue.
5. Exit VITO application
6. Stop logging by tapping «LogOff.exe»
7. Go to the Temp folder of your mobile device and find the log file «Winterface.exe.txt».
8. Send this log file to me (olya at vitotechnology dot com) with the following info: device and OS installed, screen resolution, free RAM on your device (it should be not less than 10Mb).

    Not really a major problem but a problem that is new to me when using Winterface (didn’t had this before!).

    When I start a program the top is gone (heading where the clock etc. is). And the top of Winterface is visible. I use the latest version (2.04) and there is a option Heading but this doesn’t change anything for me!

    Yep sometimes it doesn’t recognizes the touch but within the actual application it’s fine

    Loving Winterface, couple questions:

    1) When I click on the phone icon, how do I change it so it goes straight to call history?

    2) How do I add the today plugin button that launches winterface?

    Can I add a ‘call log’ incon? Miss calls sometimes without a message. I need to see who called. I can log out of Winterface and go to the main menu, but would rather just select an icon.
